[Z7 Beta] Can't save to Zotero --reference extractor

I uploaded a .docx file with Zotero generated references into https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/ .

It indicates the number of references extracted and the number of duplicates removed.

However, Select in Zotero does not seem to actually select in Zotero (7.1-beta.21+4915f1fad (64-bit) is open and running).

Win 11

Am I missing something?

Does it work in Z beta?

Any help appreciated.

Works for me with 7.1-beta.21+4915f1fad (64-bit). I just tried with a very simple document (2 active citations).

Hmm... works for me, too, in a new document with 2 citations.

I also tried with an earlier, smaller version with 1/2 the citations (161) and it worked.

So, I did some document trouble shooting.

Pp. 1-188 (357 cites) -- No

Pp. 90-188 (110 cites) -- yes

Pp. 1-90 (275 cites) -- No
Pp. 1-45 (137 cites) -- Yes
Pp. 45-90 (147 cites) -- Yes

The problem seems to be in the first half. When I did the whole first half (275) cites, it did not work.

But, each half of the first half (1st and 2nd quarters) done separately, each works.

So, might there be some threshold number beyond which it doesn't work? (Somewhere between 161 and 275?)

You could open a ticket in the GitHub. There might be an unknown issue with the code of the extractor.

I just tested with FireFox (instead of Chrome). It successfully selected all 356 items.
