Omit period at end of citation

I am using the Society of Biblical Literature (full note) style, which inserts a period at the end of a citation. How do I change the style so the period is not automatically inserted? Thanks.

Line 1188 (starts with layout....", remove the suffix=".".

In the Editing CSL Styles - Step-by-Step Guides, under #2, Edit the Style, second paragraph, it says, "Paste the style code into the Zotero CSL Editor." How exactly do I do that?

Any code editor, notepad etc. will work, but in Zotero you have it under Tools - Developer - Style Editor
