style did not work

edited 17 days ago
I tried to use a homemade style based on Elsevier (numeric wityh style) file
I would like to reduce the number of authors
I made my own file by changing the parameter in csl visual editor and added to Zotero
However it did not work

it is my author macro in csl file
<macro name="author">
<names variable="author" suffix=".">
<name delimiter="; " delimiter-precedes-last="always" et-al-min="2" et-al-use-first="3" initialize-with=". " name-as-sort-order="all"/>
<label form="short" prefix=", " text-case="capitalize-first"/>
</names>
</macro>

Has anyone got an idea?
thank you

    I suspect it's the ID -- I'd stick to the http://zotero.org... URI format of the existing styles. Note that this is a URI, not a URL, i.e. this doesn't need to be a working link.

    but it work when it was insert into bibliography and not in the macro

    "<"/bibliography et-al-min="2" et-al-use-first="1" second-field-align="flush" entry-spacing="0" line-spacing="1">"
