Microsoft Word add-in for Mac on Office 365 as a third party user from university
I have dowloaded Zotero on my new MacBook Air and am trying to install the add-in for Microsoft Word. However, when I press that button from Settings + citation nothing happens when I click on it. I have contacted my IT department at my university and they have not been able to help. Other plug-ins appear like EndNote and Mendely, but not Zotero. Is it because it is Office 365 online as a third party user through a university? I have to think many other students have a similar set-up.

adamsmithAre you actually using Word Online (i.e., in your browser) or just the Word 365 installation? There is not Zotero plug-in for Word Online.

kate.nyhanHi -- just an FYI, my university is encouraging the use of Word Online (rather than the application), and they finally got around to allowing users to install the EndNote Add-On for Word Online. I don't know if that matches what is happening at other big institutions, but if it's a wider trend, maybe a Zotero plugin for Word Online would be a good thing?
