Zotero Plugin doesn't work in Google Docs since updating to Zotero 7
Hello everyone,
I just updated Zotero to Zotero 7 last week. Since then, however, I can no longer use the plugin for Google Docs, although I have already reinstalled the plugin.
I work in Google Chrome and have problems with all Google Docs. If citations were already inserted in Google Docs with Zotero, the following problem arises: Zotero opens the edit box and I can select sources, but the bar never fully loads to green and actually inserts the citations. Instead, the document flashes wildly for several minutes and a kind of ‘invisible cursor’ scrolls through the document.
In new Google Docs, I can't even open the Zotero edit box. After clicking on ‘Add/Edit Citation’ nothing happens.
How can I solve this problem?
Best regards,
Marius

adomasvenThere's a Zotero citation in your document that has been changed to a single character (like a ".") by mistake. You should find it and delete it. Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents might help.

mariusRogThanks for your reply. I will check that. But there are nevertheless also problems in documents that do not yet contain any Zotero citations.

adomasvenIf you have problems in new documents after restarting Zotero and refreshing Google Docs, create a new thread and describe them.
