I am new to using zotero for referencing. I am using Google Docs with the Zotero plugin to add citations. But each time I select an source to cite it is added as a footnote. Only the footnote number appears in text where I have the cursor, and the matching footnote citation is added at the bottom of the page. After much online searching I have not been able to find out how to change this so that I have intext citation e.g. (Jones, 2005) instead.

Any help much appreciated.
