Endnote's Online Search Mode?

I simply can't find the information:
if you want to go, eg, to the Library of Congress catalog (or some other library) and search the publications of an author or other keyword, how do you do it in zotero?
I only see the option to enter the ISBN, doi etc.
Any help greatly appreciated!
  • Thank you. But this is not what I am asking. This for adding items you have found, eg when you are on the article page of a journal. I am asking about running a search on a library catalogue, eg for books by one author. This is done through the Online Search Mode on Endnote. Can this not be done on Zotero?

Again, I have looked but can't find anything related to this, so any help appreciated!
  • You would run your search on the library’s site. When you’re on a search results page, the Zotero Connector toolbar button should display a folder icon; click it and choose which items to add.
  • But no, there's no search from within Zotero -- it was always designed to interact with your browser.
  • Pretty awesome!
Not sure what I was doing on Endnote all these years ;) This is much faster and better and simpler.

    Z even works on Overleaf.

    Thanks for the prompt responses!
