Automatically add PDFs as an attachment to parent item
Hello,
I have a fujitsu quaderno (e ink tablet/reader) and my current workflow is to sync my entire zotero storage directory to the quaderno and search for files on the quaderno to then read them and annotate them (and then sync back to my computer). The quaderno has a feature that lets one split screen with the current pdf (in this case an article, paper, book, etc.) and a blank pdf that one can take notes on thats then associated with the current pdf. In my syncing procedure, this additional pdf is synced to the zotero storage folder associated with that parent item in zotero. I was wondering if there is a way for zotero to see this file in the folder associated with the parent item and automatically add it as an attachment to the parent item instead of me having to do it manually. Thanks!

dstillmanNo, sorry. The data directory is managed by Zotero, and it stores one file per attachment in the 'storage' subfolders, so it definitely wouldn't ever expect anything like this.
