Adding annotations and tags to a pdf

Hello. I use Zotwro on my iPad, and I’ve been having issues creating an annotated bibliography locally. I don’t like highlighting the pdf on Zotero, so I usually download a pdf, highlight it on GoodNotes, and then export it to Zotero. When I do this, I’m unable to add typed notes to the pdf in the edits. Is there a way to work around this?

    Hey @DevRaa, standalone attachments do not allow notes. You can create a parent item for such an item, by long tapping on the item to get the item actions menu. Then you'll be able to add notes.
