Zotero Word Plug In

I have a problem with the functioning of the word plug in of zotero. I tried reinstalling it from the zotero app but it still doesn't work and I don't know why.
I tried also to instal manually the plug in but still no good results
  • You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

    1.Start my Zotero
    2.Open my Word
3.Click on Add-in in the Word file I want to add the bibliography to

I would expect to find Zotero. I can't find the Zotero Add-in even if the packet is installed

The plugin creates a "Zotero" tab in the Word ribbon. If you don't see it, see Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear and the platform-specific steps linked from there, and if you're still having trouble, let us know exactly what you tried, in your own words, and what happened at each step.
  • I tried following those steps.

    1.I closed Word
    2.I opened Zotero
3.I opened the setting and entered the Citation window
4.I clicked "Reinstall Microsoft Word Extension"
    5.The installation went well
    6.I restarted Word

I would have expected everything would be fine now but I still don't see zotero on the Word ribbon.
  • I tried doing that too, nothing changes
  • You will have to detail what you did at each step and what happened, otherwise we cannot help you.
  • 1.I opened Word
    2.Went to File-Options-Add-ins
3.There's Zotero.dotm in the list and it's under Active Add-ins
    4.Went to trust centre
    5.Clicked trust centre settings
    6.Went to “Add-ins”,
7.“Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher” and “Disable all Application Add-ins” are unchecked
    8.Restarted Word
    9.Zotero tab was not present
10.Went back to trust centre settings
    11.Opened macro setting page
12.“Disable all macros with notification” was already checked
    13.Restarted Word

I would have expected a notification to pop up. Nothing happened
  • Is this a personal computer or one issued by your university/company? If you go to

    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

And temporarily move Normal.dotm somewhere else (like your Desktop), then restart Word, does the Zotero tab appear? If you open the Zotero.dotm file manually does the Zotero tab appear?

Thank you, but should I leave Normal.dotm on my dekstop then?
