link between zotero 7 and files in hard disk

Hi!
I am informed that I can link the item with the files in Google Drive as a attachment and sync the both.
Can I link items in Zotero 7 with files in my main computer in order to open my files by a click in Zotero as I can sync with Google Drives?

Zotero can only sync "stored" PDF attachment files, those under Zotero\storage. If instead you use "linked" attachment files stored elsewhere on your computer, you are responsible for syncing them across each computer (linked files don't work with the Zotero mobile apps). Such as via a cloud service like Google Drive. If you do that, Zotero can open the linked files on each computer.
