Zotero commands not showing up in Word Quick Access Toolbar on Mac

My Zotero Word plugin works on my Mac. However, I am encountering a strange issue with the Quick Access Toolbar on Word.

I have tried to customize the Quick Access Toolbar by adding the Zotero "Add Note" button to it. However, the "Add Note" button (and all other Zotero buttons) simply do not show up in the Toolbar after I save my changes. I have tried restarting Word, Zotero, and my computer but none of it has worked. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I have the same issues.

    I can easily add any other Word function, but Zotero initially shows that it's adding to the Toolbar, but the moment you click "Save" it doesn't actually add it and even more so, it automatically removes it from the list so that when I go back to setting it's no longer there and I need to try to add it again.

    As I said, all other non-Zotero functions add without issue. I noticed many posts of this kind on the internet going back years (both here and on Reddit) but never any resolution.

    @jg.ho @jin9465 @braxon For the longest time Word didn't even show the Zotero tab in the quick access list of options. They seem to have tried to fix it, but it indeed doesn't work. It's a Word bug. However you can add Zotero functions to the Quick Access list by choosing them from the Macros section of the dialog.

    Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

    It's also worth remembering that you can set a shortcut through Tools>Customize Keyboard and then choosing Macros in the "Categories" window.
    On my Mac, the command "Shift+Cmd+J" was still unassinged, if that's helpful.
