Cannot copy citation/bibliography in reader

With version 7.1-beta.12+c51133f43 (64-bit) on Linux, I can no longer perform the copy citation or copy bibliography actions via the shortcut keys (ctrl + shift + a, ctrl + shift + c), nor via the edit menu.

You’re having some problem loading styles (for this and your other thread). Reset your styles from the Advanced → Files and Folders section of the Zotero settings with BBT disabled.

Thanks. When I click "Reset Styles", a modal dialog appears that says "Any new or modified styles will be lost.". I do have a custom style defined. Is there a way to back this up and recover it after resetting?

It'd be in the 'styles' folder in your Zotero data directory.

Thanks, I backed up my custom style.

I reset the styles while in troubleshooting mode. However, when I restart in non-troubleshooting mode (with BBT disabled), the "Loading..." still appears. If I then restart in troubleshooting mode, the "Loading..." appears again.

I then tried again to reset the styles while in troubleshooting mode, and then restarted again in troubleshooting mode. This time, the "Loading..." still appeared. I also noticed that the styles directory is still empty.

There was some combination of actions where it briefly worked, but I can't seem to find a consistent way to reproduce anything yet, unfortunately.

If I revert to version 7.1-beta.11+fb8b65b32 (64-bit), the item pane header (when set to "Bibliography Entry") works fine.

This is reproducible for me with the following steps:

1. Restart in troubleshooting mode.
2. Set the item pane header to "Title".
3. Reset styles.
4. Restart in troubleshooting mode.
5. Notice that the item pane header correctly shows the title.
6. Set the item pane header to "Bibliography" (American Psychological Association 7th edition).
7. Notice that the item pane header correctly shows the bibliography information.
8. Restart in troubleshooting mode.
9. Notice that the item pane header now shows "Loading..."

Fixed in the latest beta — thanks. (This could happen if you were using the Bibliography Entry option and clicked an item right after Zotero loaded.)

Thanks. The item pane header is fixed in version 7.1-beta.13+fc3b7e0f8 (64-bit).

However, the copy citation / copy bibliography keyboard shortcuts still don't work for me. Moreover, the options don't appear in the Edit menu anymore:

Never mind my previous comment, that was my error. The Quick Copy item format had nothing selected. Once I selected a style, the copy citation/bibliography works again.
