Drag PDFs into Desktop App

Has there been a change to the desktop app function that allows the user to drag a PDF from macOS Finder or Windows File Explorer directly into the desktop app? I have tried on both operating systems in the past day or so and that function doesn't seem to work anymore.

    No changes. Test that "Add File" in the GUI still works and that you aren't trying to drag to a group without file sharing.
