Mendeley to Zotero: Did everything transfer? Size discrepancy.

I'm ditching Mendeley (hooray!) and imported my Mendeley library to Zotero yesterday. The number of records is similar (2330 in M, 2344 in Z... not sure how I picked up 14 records). However, the size of my M library is 2.6 GB and Z is 300/300 MB. How do I interpret this? Do you suspect that Z copied the metadata but didn't bring over a bunch of PDFs or other files?
  • Where are you checking the size of your Zotero library? 300MB looks like the upper limit of the free sync storage offer, so that's what you might be seeing online even if you have much more in your local library.
This is how you can find your local data: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
  • Oh, you are correct, thanks! Yes, I was seeing online that I was using 300MB/300MB. My "storage" file that I found using the link you provided is 2.4GB... much closer to the 2.66GB in Mendeley. This is alleviating. I appreciate you!
