Import of .ctv6-file from Citavi to Zotero does not work on both MacBook and Windows

## problem description

When trying to import a .ctv6-file from Citavi to Zotero, I get the notification that no items were imported. However, a new collection is created called "Mendeley Import 31.01.2025, 11:56:45", containing no items/information.

I followed the following instructions for the import of the .ctv6-file: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/import_from_citavi

Does anyone of you have any idea why the import is not successful and also how to resolve this issue?

    It's quite easy to select the wrong file for import, so please double-check that you've followed all the steps on the linked page and picked the correct .ctv6 file.

    If that doesn't help, try running the import again with debug enabled and post a Debug ID, which might provide us with more information on what's going on.

I actually did not follow the instructions thoroughly enough and this is why the reported issue happened: I missed to create a backup as described. Now, after complying with this step, it worked perfectly fine. Sorry for my inattention and thank you again. Best, Leon
