Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Aigerim, a librarian at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. I wanted to reach out to you about a reference list. The issue is that I merged duplicates, but the amount of the reference list does not change. What should I do in this case? Currently, I am working on my Systematic Review.

I merged 24 duplicates.

However, I did not see any changes in my reference list.
I need your expert help

    I assume you're talking about a document where you have cited items and created a bibliography.

    Delete the bibliography and then reinsert it.
    If that didn't fix the issue you have these duplicated citations survive in your document.
    You will need to delete them one by one and reinsert them making sure to utilise the one that says "Cited" in the Zotero bubble.

    Thank you for your prompt response. Yes, I created a collection for each reference list that I exported and clicked on duplicates. Merged 24 articles. However, the amount of the reference list did not change.
    Okay, I will do that, delete one by one.
