Pages opening in "clean" browser windows if using Firefox forks
If I try to open a link when my default browser is set to Firefox, the link opens as expected in the currently running instance of Firefox.
However, when I have tried this with my default browser set to a fork of Firefox such as Librewolf or Floorp, the page opens in a brand new window. Moreover, this new window behaves like a separate profile. None of my history, extensions, themes, bookmarks, etc are available. All settings are the defaults; it's like a fresh install.
I have checked using htop that the same binary is being used as if I launch the browser normally from the desktop. This does not happen when other applications load webpages.
Librewolf and Floorp both have some extra privacy and security features, but I'm not sure which would potentially cause this behaviour, and as I said, other apps can launch the browser just fine.
Any suggestions welcome. Running Linux (Pop OS)
