Safari - Zotero Extension Does Nothing?

Hello!
I have Safari Version 18.0 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.7. I recently installed Zotero 7.0.11 and have the blue Z icon for the Safari connector showing up in the Safari toolbar. I've enable the Zotero extension and given it access to all websites.

When I click the blue Z toolbar button, nothing happens. I am probably missing something very obvious but can't see it... All pointers appreciated.

@OneAleph: Are you seeing the Z on all pages? E.g., this one? You shouldn't see a Z unless you haven't given the extension access to all websites or it's not actually loading properly.

Restart your computer, and if you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading this page (if you're able to access the Zotero Connector preferences).

Perhaps this is something that helps with figuring out what's going on:

When I right click on any webpage in Safari and go to Zotero Preferences, I am taken to a page that looks like the attached screenshot, with two clickable links - "General" and "Advanced". Clicking on either does nothing...

I think I do have the extension enabled in Safari. Here is the relevant screen:

If you disable the other Safari extensions and restart Safari, does that make any difference?
