Referencing a style in Zotero Style Repository

Hello

I have created a custom style for my wife's dissertation based loosely on style from the Zotero Style Repository. How would the repository and the original style be referenced?

Thanks for your thoughts on this and all the knowledge shared in these discussions.

  • referenced as in cited? Not at all -- you wouldn't cite the citation style you use any more than the font you use for your dissertation. Or am I misunderstanding the question?
  • Thanks for the prompt reply. I understand your puzzling. The reason for the reference is twofold. One for making it possible to present clearly a unique analysis used in her thesis and two for giving a shout out to an excellent tool which she and dozens of my own students have used in theses over the years. No, you do not cite Times New Roman, Microsoft Word, or Apple. But Zotero and those responsible for it should get credited for this help.
