[Solved] "Software" category not shown when sorting by Item Type column in the Web Library

I'm currently only accessing via the Web Library, and the problem happens in both Firefox and Chrome.
I sorted my library by clicking on the "Item Type" column, and all my entries of the Software type are missing from the list.
When sorting by other columns (tried Name, Date, Date Added, Date Modified), they appear normally.
During the situation where Software type items are missing, the total entry count of my library doesn't change.
No error message at all.

I won't be able to access my library via the desktop app for a while, but I will try to get a Report/Debug ID later.
This is my first time posting here, and I'm also not an english native speaker, so please tell me if my report is clear.

    Hi, thanks for reporting this problem. Is it possible that these items are incorrectly sorted rather than missing? Some item types are not sorted alphabetically in the web library—I believe "Software" will be sorted between "Case" and "Conference Paper". You can see the same order when selecting an item type in the item details pane (again, only in the web library).
  • Thanks, tnajdek, that is correct. I did scroll a little looking for the Software items, but didn't go that far. Also, I had never noticed that the order is different when selecting from the details pane because I add items by clicking on the "new item" button, and the list there is alphabetically sorted.
  • Thanks for confirming. Ideally, it should be alphabetically sorted everywhere, but there are some technical challenges that we need to resolve first. We hope to address this issue in the future.
