Style Error: American Journal of Sociology

The style lists the Edition twice, as shown in the bottom example at https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:american-journal-of-sociology&fields=sociology.

I don’t see anything about editions at all at https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/pb-assets/docs/journals/ajs-accepted-publication-formatting-1692887363133.pdf, so presumably this is not intended behavior.
  • A second error: When the Original Date extra field is used, that date should appear in the bibliography in parentheses before the publication date, as shown in the PDF linked above.

  • Well, it looks like I've shot myself in the foot. The reason I was using this is that it did *not* put the DOI at the end. Oh well.

    I'm not sure I'm following. They clearly request for the DOI to be included, hence the change. Many styles have added this to their guidelines in recent years.
  • I didn’t say that you were wrong, I am saying that this style no longer serves my purposes :(
