Zotero will not open on Macbook

Hi. Zotero will not open on Macbook and it will not open in word either. The problem is "missing acess" it says. My Macbook gives me a detailed list of what I am supposed to do. It says "open system selection", and then "security and privacy", and then "automation". Zotero should be listed in "automation", but it is not listed there. Do you know what to do? I have tried deleting all the software to Zotero a couple of times and then install ut all over, but that seems not to be a issue. Please help!

    Let's handle one thing at a time.

    When you say Zotero won't open, what exactly do you mean? Are you getting an error message? Can you provide a screenshot?

    Anything in Word is irrelevant if you can't open Zotero.

    Thank you for reaching out to me. Sorry, let me clarify. Yes, it is possible to open Zotero. But it is not possible to open zotero in word. It is not even in the display in word.

    What do you mean by "It is not even in the display in word"? How are you getting a message if nothing appears?

    I have had it one time earlier. This time I could see Zotero in word, and by that I mean that it was attached as an option on the line with the "home" bottom and so on. When I tried to click on it, the list of what was wrong came up, and I tried going through that list, but it was not possible to do those things. Now, Zotero won't show in word. It is possible to open Zotero just fine. I called apple support, and we tried lots of thing, but that did not work either.

    If you're saying you don't see a Zotero tab in the Word ribbon, see Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear.
