Zotero7: prompt text in Abstract

The Abstract field has a default value "No description provided". When I click into it, I have to select that prompt text and delete it.
Could you make this text virtual, i.e. display it if the value is empty?

    Not sure what you're talking about. The Abstract field has an "Add abstract…" placeholder that's purely visual. You don't need to delete anything.

    Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

    And the URL (if any) you imported the item from -- I could see "No description provided" being in the metadata at some publisher and we'd be able to filter that out on import.

    Hi! You're right: a new item created manually doesn't have such parasitic text.
    Unfortunately I can't remember which item had this defect (probably imported by DOI). If I encounter a similar problem again, I'll write here.
