Confused About Storage Upgrade: Applied to My Account Instead of Group

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help me out. I was trying to upgrade the storage for my group library and clicked the "Upgrade Storage" button directly in the group library interface. However, the storage upgrade seems to have only applied to my personal account, not the group.

I’m really confused because I initiated the upgrade from the group library page, so I thought it would automatically apply to the group. Is there a way to fix this and ensure the storage is applied to the group instead?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • The button is just part of the website header and shows up on every page.

    Zotero storage subscriptions always apply to the purchaser's Zotero account. They will provide storage for their personal library and any group libraries that they own.

    The owner of the group can transfer it to you from the group's profile settings
    https://www.zotero.org/groups/ > Manage Profile > Transfer Ownership

    Or if you email storage@zotero.org with details we can transfer the storage subscription to them.
