How to delete an attachment from a citation (without deleting the item)

I want to delete an attachment from a citation without deleting the item. I tried to right-click on the attachment, but it does not give me an option to select Move Item to Bin/Trash. In fact, it does not give me any option at all when I right-click. I would appreciate any help on this.

You delete attachments from the items list the same way as regular items — by selecting the item and either pressing Delete on the keyboard or right-clicking and choosing "Move Item to Trash…". If you're not seeing that, provide a screenshot of what you're looking at.

I had the same question and confusion. Right clicking on the attachment in the right hand side window does nothing. Instead I just figured out a person needs to work in the main Title window in the middle, click the title of the paper, click the ">" to expand under the title what attachments exist, and then a person can right click and delete any or all of the attachments listed.
