When there are too many citations, the citation list is formatted incorrectly; when I delete half of the article and update the citation list, the formatting is correct again. Anomalies are suspected to be caused by too many citations.

Can you give an example of what you mean? The number of citations has nothing at all to do with formatting.

If spacing and indenting are wrong, switching to a different style and back will fix.
If you don't get italics where you expect them, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies

Yeah, I don't get italics where it should be, but the citation displays correct formatting when hovering my mouse over it at https://www.zotero.org/styles. The strange thing is that when I delete half of the citations in my text and click the refresh, the bibliography displays the correct italics; when I add the delete part to the text again, all italics disappear timely.

The way anything is shown on zotero.org/styles has nothing to do with your library or settings.

Please try the above solutions given by adamsmith.

Thanks all for your help. After I read this website https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies, I realised what happened; it was because something was wrong with the Word. I have solved the problem by adding a fake reference and then deleting it.
