Video Recording and TV Broadcast inconsistent behaviour on Cite Them Right 12th edition - Harvard
I can't figure out what's going on here:
Item type: Video Recording (but also happens with: TV Broadcast)
Tile: Title
Director: Director
Date: 2000

When I "create bibliography from item" with "Cite Them Right 12th edition - Harvard" style, I get different results...
If I use Zotero app for windows I get: Title (2000).
if I generate it from the browser with the online library, I get: Director (2000) Title
What's wrong? Am I missing something?

Seems to me that in the app for windows, somehow, Zotero confuses the Title with the Director.
I'm currently using Zotero 7, but I just updated it to try to solve the problem I was already encountering in Zotero 6.
I have already attempted to remove the style and add it again, but it didn't make any difference.
The style is programmed in the way that if there is NO author to then substitute it with the title. That's a very common thing we do in citation styles.
However, many styles do not have the "Director" variable coded into the style. So we need to review the style guide and then fix the style.
You can help by providing the section from the guidelines that talks about TV/Film recordings.
I understand now that the option "Omit Author" logically omit the title or the author in case in the text where the citation is placed, the author/title is already mentioned. So, sorry for the confusion, my second comment is irrelevant.
Here I post the guidelines, even if, for now Zotero does not offer this amount of different options, I'm not sure which ones would fit best for TV Broadcast and for Video Recording.
Despite many references for video sources starts with the title, I think it would be more useful starting with the Author/Director, so it would be possible just not insert the Author/Director to have it replaced with the title. Not sure if other users would agree...
