When I try to add a citation to my Google Doc, the blue loading bar freezes at 90%, and the citation doesn’t get inserted.

Restart Zotero and your browser. Provide a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for an attempt to insert a citation that stops in this way.
