Impossible to reinstall Zotero
Hi there,
I uninstalled Zotero and now I can't reinstall it. When I launch the launcher, I get a message asking me to restart the computer to uninstall Zotero... I have tried to download and delete the launcher several times without success... I can download and use Zotero 6, but I am still stuck on Zotero 7.
I guess I have a kind of "cookie" of my computer since Zotero seems to have kept in memory my first desinstallation, but I was unable to localise it...
Can you help me? Thank you very much!

Could you please help us by answering a few questions below?
1. Does your account have administrator privileges? When you start the installer, does it show a dialog asking you to allow the installer to make changes to your system?
2. Where is your Zotero 6 currently installed?
3. When installing Zotero 7, if you select "Custom" instead of "Standard" in the installer step visible in the screenshot, it will show a path where Zotero is to be installed. What is this path?
1. Yes, I have to allow the installer to make changes to my system.
2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero
3. C:\Program Files\Zotero\
I hope this is the aswers you asked for.
C:\Program Files\Zotero\
that should have been removed during the uninstallation (or a reboot afterwards) but weren't. To solve this problem, you can manually remove theC:\Program Files\Zotero\
directory and run the Zotero 7 installer again. If you wouldn't mind answering a few more questions to help us track this issue down, I’d greatly appreciate it:
1. Did you uninstall Zotero prior to running the Zotero 7 installer? If yes, do you remember how you uninstalled Zotero? Was it using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature of Windows?
2. Did you ever have an earlier version of Zotero 7 installed?
1.Yes, I initially uninstalled Zotero prior to running the Zotero 7 installer, using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature of Windows.
2. It was my first version of Zotero on this computer.
I finally removed C:\Program Files\Zotero\ manually as proposed, and it worked, thank you! But I'm sorry, I did this before the screenshot...
