Consistent failures to export annotated PDF
When exporting PDF with annotations, it fails silently.
In particular, I have a PDF that has annotations of each time that Zotero supports adding to a document.
When I select File > Save as..., and then try to save the file, nothing happens (including no error displayed) and the file is not saved to the selected location.
When I checked the error console, it was clear that the export was failing.
So, I have three asks:
1. Is there a workaround for my situation, so that I can get the PDF exported? (I also tried using File>Export PDF... from the library view).
2. When exports fail, show an error message.
3. Fix the PDF exports (for my particular situation. I assume they typically work).

paul.wintzI just tested exporting a different annotated PDF and that worked OK.
-
paul.wintzI thought that maybe including an emoji in an annotation was the problem, but I tested exporting a different document with an emoji annotation that worked fine (although Chrome does not display emojis in annotations, apparently).
-
paul.wintzI just checked that I'm on the latest version of Zotero (7.0.11 (64-bit))
-
paul.wintzI just tried adding the same PDF to Zotero again (without annotations), adding several annotations, and exporting again. The export worked. This indicates that the problem is with one of the annotations rather than the underlying PDF.
-
paul.wintzI just tried again with plugins disabled. No effect.
