"Rename File from Parent Metadata" Feature Not Working as Expected
Zotero is truly the best tool for researchers.
However, in the newly released version 7, the "Rename File from Parent Metadata" feature no longer works as it did in previous versions.
In earlier versions, the file name was changed to the "Author - Year - Title" format, and the attachment name was also updated accordingly. In the new version, the file name is updated correctly, but the attachment name, for some reason, changes to "PDF" instead of reflecting the metadata.
I am curious about what steps users need to take to make it work like it did in the previous version.
Thanks.

After reviewing the link you provided, I now understand that Zotero's original behavior has not changed between version 6 and version 7.
However, in the previous version, I was using the ZotFile plugin, which renamed both the PDF file and the attachment title together.
Currently, the ZotFile plugin that works with Zotero version 7 is not yet available.
Thank you!
