7.0.8 (64-bit) PDF Reader bug and feature suggestion

Hi Zotero team,

Thanks for all the hard work with Zotero! The latest Windows version has a bug in the PDF viewer:1) the highlight is still faint if we have dark mode activate. This doesn't happen in the light mode.

As a suggestion: Reading PDFs in Dark Mode is painful, could those of us who love using Zotero in Dark Mode have a Toggle to set the PDF Reader to show PDF documents in either Light or Dark Mode according to user preference for better experience?

    1. Can you make sure you're on the final release version of 7.0.8? That bug was present in some of the betas but has been fixed.

    2. View -> Use Dark Mode for Content

    Thanks for your response.

    I am on the most current version for Windows, which was released today (7.0.8 64-bit).

    Currently, my View menu doesn't offer the option to 'Use Dark Mode for Content':

    That option only shows in reader tabs.

    Thanks everyone. I can change the settings within Zotero's own PDF reader. It's working as intended.
