Problem with citation key

Hey,

I spent quiet a long time to set up Zotero and also Obsidian. I know have problems with the citation key.


That is my current one:
authAuthEa + year

However, it shows the author, short title and then the year. Nothing changes when I change my citation key. What should I do?

I would love to have two authors displayed and the year.
Additionally, I would like to have the Authors displayed with a upper case letter in the beginning.

    For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.

    @Soph.8999: Your citation key formula should work. You just need to refresh the citation keys that you want to update.
    Changing a pattern will only affect items created/changed after you changed the pattern; existing keys are not automatically regenerated when you change the pattern. If you want your keys to update after a pattern change you will have to select your items, right-click, and select Refresh. This will not affect keys you have pinned.

    Better start with a small number of items, as it can take some time for a large number of items to update at once.
