[feature suggestion] not-flattened pdf export

just a short one hoping for that the exported pdf (containing the zotero-generated annotations) need not be flattened. (e.g. highlight is still rendered as highlight, not directly embedded in the file).

    They're not flattened. We export annotations as standard PDF annotations. Just open the exported PDF in Preview and you can see the highlights in the Highlights and Notes sidebar, right-click → Remove Highlight on highlights, drag ink annotations around, etc.

    you're right - not sure what happened there. I just tried with another pdf and it didn't export as flattened. :|
