The Android app just doesn't yet support webpage snapshots or EPUBs in the reader (which are new in Zotero 7, which just came out a few weeks ago). It's just showing snapshots in a webview.
Is there any ETA for the webpage highlighting? As omnivore is shutting down at the end of november 2024, Zotero looks more and more like a serious option for former omnivore users! I would gladly donate a few dollars to show support for this specific feature.
I think that only thing missing pretty much is mobile support for webpage annotation and webpage saving. The rest is not that important.
I just came here from Omnivore, too. I tested the Android app with the new highlights for PDFs and it feels great. It would be amazing to be able to also annotate web snapshots. If there is a workaround for now, please let us know too. Maybe convert a web snapshot to a pdf or something like that? Thank you for the great work!
By the way, for now I'm using Wallabag, which is open-source, for articles. But it would be great to keep everything together in Zotero.
