Upgrade StorageInstalled Zotero 7 for the first time and it won't open
Hi - I just got a brand new computer and have realized that the new updates to Mendeley are terrible and don't work. I thought this would be a good time to migrate to Zotero, which i've never tried before.
I just installed Zotero 7 (windows 11) which seemed to work fine but it won't open no matter how many times I try. I've done the computer restart, delete and re-install about 5 times but it changes nothing.
I have no idea what to do...this is a brand new computer and a brand new instillation of Zotero.

dstillmanIs this an institutional computer? Are you running any third-party security software?

melaniebprenticeHi! It is a personal computer but it has been networked into an institutional network. I think that may have been an issue. I have no clue how I fixed it but I started playing around with the properties and something worked because it opened eventually! Apologies I can't pinpoint exactly what I did to make it work for future users!
