Is there a keyboard shortcut for 'Filter Collections' in Zotero 7?
Hello.
I use the 'filter collections' function a lot because I use a detailed folder structure. However, I think it would be good if there is a keyboard shortcut for this function, but I can't seem to find such a function even after looking through the help. Is there any way to do it?

dstillmanCmd/Ctrl-Shift-L takes you to the collections list, and Shift-Tab from there takes you to the search field.

felixturbanischShift-Tab is the weirdest keyboard shortcut I've ever seen. Why do we even need one? It should be sufficient to start typing when the collections pane is selected.

dstillmanedited 12 days ago@felixturbanisch: Shift-Tab is the universal shortcut on all operating systems for going back one place in the tab order. That's all that is. You can, but that's find-as-you-type — again, a near-universal feature of lists in apps — which only searches the beginnings of entries and automatically navigates you to them. The filter bar will search anywhere in the collection names and narrow the list to those entries.

felixturbanischThank you, I shouldn't have been so blunt. It just strikes me as a missed opportunity not to assign a keyboard shortcut to the search function and to rely on tab-navigation instead. Find-as-you-type doesn't seem to find sub-collections that are not fully expanded?

dstillmanWe might add a keyboard shortcut later — this is just the way you can do it now.You can press + first to expand all collections.

felixturbanischGreat, thanks a lot! Looks like the keyboard-centric workflow is coming together :)
