Bluebook format not displaying properly in item header

A nice feature of the new Zotero is that at the top of the information column that appears on the right of your screen, it shows how your selected item will appear in the particular citation format you've selected using Edit-->Settings-->General-->Item Pane Header: Bibliography Entry-->Header Citation Style: [you select].

This seems to work for all citation styles I've tried *except* Bluebook. With Bluebook, all I get in the header is Title/Creator/Year. Please don't say "right-click in the header window, go to 'View As', and select 'Bibliography Entry' instead of what you probably now have, which is 'Title, Creator, Year'." The dark bullet point is firmly beside "Bibliography Entry", but it's still giving me "Title, Creator, Year". Again, this happens only with Bluebook.

Any suggestions?

  • I would say this is because this style does not define a bibliography. So it displays the default format.
  • That's probably it. If any Zotero developers are reading this, would it be possible to add a "Footnote" to the "View As" list when you right-click in the Item Pane Header (also to Settings-->General-->Appearance and Language-->Item Pane Header dropdown menu)? It would be extremely handy to know how the footnote is going to look as well as the bibliography entry.
  • We'll fix.
