Keybord commands for visually impaired users
Good afternoon, I'm a university librarian and recently I run a tutorial class on Zotero.
Among the students was a blind person. He told me he liked Zotero but he'd like the "mouse commands" could also be executed through keyboard keys as, for example, copy/paste can be done with Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V.
That means that, for instance, the mouse command "Create bibliography from Collection..." could be executed also with a combination of keys such as Ctrl + C + 4 or whatever combinations the Zotero developers could make up.
Thank you very much for your attention.

Less common functions can be accessed via the keyboard using standard functionality, so e.g. to create a bibliography from a selected collection, open the context menu (shift+F10 on Windows) and then choose the respective option -- that's similar to how sighted users would need to use right-click --> context menu to access that option. There are some add-ons that allow you to specify custom shortcuts for other actions (Zotero Actions and Tags or Zutilo).
I have the most recent Zotero version, I think.
Zutilo is not compatible with the current version of Zotero.
There's a Z7 compatible version of Zutilo linked from a support thread (and I mention an alternative add-on, too).
As you can see, something is missing in my computer version.
