RAM pressure

After I updated Zetoro 7, my computer's Ram usage skyrocketed to the point where I could barely open other software.Is that exactly normal?

And I have a total of 8G of Ram and a computer system windows 10 22H2.

On the other hand, when I open a large pdf file (>100M) it takes a long time to load (>30s) and reloads when I click on the next page!

In my experience some of those plugins are RAM and/or CPU hogs. Try disabling the first one (or limiting its selected options) and see how that goes. ;)

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.

I have restarted in troubleshooting mode but there is only a 2% difference compared to before the plugin was enabled, is this normal?

I'm not sure what that's meant to show? That shows Zotero using ~300 MB instead of 3400 MB…

yeah,it is truely ~300 MB. I think it's time to buy a new RAM to improve this annoying thing.
