Add item by ISBN often failing

I have been trying to add a number of books to Zotero using their ISBNs.

Many of these are failing to find a record, but when I search WorldCat directly with the same ISBN, a record is located.

Just one example: 9780593298657.

I'd be interested to know if others are finding the same issue.

If you add many at once, you might get blocked by WorldCat.

Can you provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails?

Ah, thanks @dstillman, your suggestion was right. I've just tried that same ISBN and it returned the details ok.

Worldcat's limit must be quite low :-(

Hi @dstillman - I'm re-opening this ticket.

I tried just one "Add item by identifier" today and the item was not found.

A manual search of Worldcat using the ISBN returned items.

It looks like we weren't properly handling some newer ISBN ranges. Try again now.
