"Add by identifier" function not working!

I was very much used to adding stuff with their ISSNs and ISBN. But when I actually paste the numbers, it shows, "Zotero could not find any identifiers in your input. Please verify your input and try again." What's happening guys!!!! This is crippling me

An ISSN identifies an entire journal — that's not something you can add to Zotero.

For ISBNs, we'd need to see some examples.

I attempted to add the isbn: 9789351437055 to zotero. This was the response:

Zotero gets (and that has always been the case) ISBN data from a range of library catalogs. That ISBN is for a textbook that's not in any of the thousands of libraries represented in Worldcat ( https://search.worldcat.org/search?q=+9789351437055&offset=1 ).
You'll often find ISBN search failing for smaller prints, international editions of text books, self-published works, etc.

i have had a similar incident happen to me error report: 1336408720. it fails on the x64 zotero 7 program, but imported fine on the browser

@distillman The ISBN used:978-1-991075-55-0 gives the attached error on zotero 7.0.10-beta.1+913c50073 (64-bit).
using the same ISBN on the web library worked fine

Works for me. Can you provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails?
