Moving the date element - custom style

I've been using APA 7th edition (numeric, brackets, CV) for a few projects. It largely follows APA Style, but has some neat modifications for use in a CV or other documents where numbered references are useful.

I wanted to make a change to the default but have so far had little success in manually editing the CSL file.

Specifically, I want to move the date element to a different position. Instead of being after the author(s) names, I want it to appear after the publication title. For books, this would mean appearing after the book title. For journal articles, after the title of the journal (and details such as volume and issue number and page numbers). (The basic logic being that the date published reflects the date on which the work was published in this or that publication.)

Would anyone be able to help with this?
  • Same question here !
  • Most likely you don't have the same question. Please open a new thread, with details what you are looking for, what the name of the journal is etc. Links to guidelines. The more info, the better and we can actually help.
