Zotero Web not automatically renaming files not finding duplicates
Zotero desktop is not working due to Error Message "Firefox - Couldn't Load XPcom". So my only solution is zotero web.
Zotero Web has been very difficult with uploading files manually. Does not automatically rename files. Does not find duplicate files. I tried dragging and dropping files. I tried using the add new item button. Both with same result. When clicking on a file, the gibberish file name is greyed out and cannot manually change the name that way either.
Is there a way to use the old zotero on web? Is there a way to fix my issue of not automatically renaming files? How can I easily find and delete duplicates?

tnajdekedited 18 days agohttps://www.zotero.org/download/ and reinstalling. The desktop version of Zotero offers more functionality than the web library. See this page for details. File renaming functionality is planned, though. There is no such thing as "Zotero on web"; there is the Zotero app for desktop and the web library. It’s not possible to use the Zotero app in the browser.Try downloading Zotero from
