What do you mean by that, exactly? Are you referring to the desktop app or the web library? Can you explain what exactly you're doing?

Both the app and web library.
I'm trying to rename the files of the papers I upload into specific folders in Zotero to represent the title of the paper.

In the Zotero desktop app, you can rename an attachment from the info pane:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u3978561/h8sae3be8ezh3mpgke5j.png
The upper arrow points to the attachment title, and the lower one is for the file name on disk. See
this page
for more information.
Zotero can also rename files automatically based on the item's metadata; see
file renaming
.
Currently, the web library cannot do either, but attachment renaming is planned.
