Problem sorting 3 references

Hi
I'm using and author date type of bibliography (self edited) and I have trouble ordering 3 references.

The three of them are by the same author, two published in the same year.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16294032
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17508028
Peinado 2005, Peinado 2005, Peinado 2007

If I only use the 2 references published the same year, it works fine and i get (peinado 2005a, peinado 2005b)
but if i use the third one too, the letter used to distinguish same author, same date disappear.
(peinado 2005, peinado 2007, peinado 2005)
I think it has something to do with the fact that by ordering the references alphabetically, the 2007 reference gets in between and messes up with the order.

Any clues?
Thanks in advance.
  • you'd have to provide your csl code - this is likely related to an known Zotero bug, but impossible to tell without knowing what your citation style is.
gist.github.com is a useful way for sharing code, for example.
  • Ok here it is http://gist.github.com/242802
  • Any progress on this?

Based on my testing, I suspect that the date sorting bug is under-reported, and it isn't clear if there's a commitment to fixing it until some time after the 2.0 release when the new citation engine is ready.
