Best way to extract annotations from a Web Page

What is the best way to extract annotations from a web page captured via Zotero browser plugin?

I tried looking through the local [server API docs](https://github.com/zotero/zotero/blob/main/chrome/content/zotero/xpcom/localAPI/server_localAPI.js) but couldn't find anything appropriate.

    You mean access annotations that you've created on a Zotero snapshot in the reader? That isn't yet possible (but will be soon) via the local API. The web API already supports it. Add /children to an attachment item request.

    (API-related questions are better suited to the zotero-dev group.)

    Yes, I meant the annotations created on a Zotero snapshot.
