zotero://open-pdf additional functionality request - select target annotation

It would be very helpful if zotero://open-pdf/library/items/9EAWYJY8?page=2&annotation=12345 had an option in settings/preferences to actually select annotation 12345 rather than just opening the pdf at the right page - that would also be the case for annotated captured webages. (repost as a new discussion as requested)

    To the devs - would this functionality be something that would be right for the core software or would it be possible and best to do as a plugin ?

    4 reasons -
    Firstly for ease of reading/presentation purposes - it just looks better, with the dotted lines around the body text and the annotation highlighted - and if you switch to another program you don't have to think where you are in the document - it is just easier UI wise.
    Secondly if I want to do anything with the annotation it is easier/one less click.
    Thirdly, if you want to perform an operation programmatically on the selected annotation it is already selected and might make life a bit easier for a plugin, and
    Fourth, the current web page capture pages do not seem to adjust to the right position in the document, and if the automatic selection was enabled, it would (or should) actually navigate to the correct annotation.
