Zotero 7 portable failed to update! How to update it manually ?

I had tried multiple times to update it from 7.0.5 (64-bit) to 7.0.8 but got this message:
The Update could not be installed (patch apply failed)

How to fix this? or alternatively how to manually update a portable zotero ?

    It is an official version of zotero !
    I did download it from (https://www.zotero.org/download/) then (64-bit ZIP) link.
    I download and launch it successfully, my issue is with updating it.

    Oh, if it's just the ZIP, you can always just delete the folder and replace it with the new unzipped folder.

    OK. but I don't want to lose my library !
    If you could provide me with a link that explain data, addons and binary locations inside zotero folder, that might resolve this issue.

    That folder has nothing to do with your data — it's literally just the same application files that you downloaded and unzipped.

    Data is stored in the Zotero data directory.
